Mich. Applying Use Tax Break Too Narrowly, Judge Says

Michigan’s tax agency may be reading an industrial processing tax exemption statute too narrowly in asking the court to deny a use tax exemption for an oncology company that sequenced biopsies and matched patients for drug trials, a state appellate judge said during oral arguments.
