IRS Should Improve Contractor Oversight, GAO Says

The IRS should address critical weaknesses in contractor training and contractor oversight to ensure taxpayer information is secure, the Government Accountability Office said Tuesday, saying contractors are at risk of being unprepared to handle sensitive tax data.
