Brazil Will Switch To Destination-Based VAT Over 50 Years

Brazil will begin transitioning from an origin-based consumption tax system to a destination-based system over the next 50 years after the government’s approval of a major overhaul that also scraps several subnational taxes and limits states to a single rate.
