Kan. Gov Pitches Bank Tax Cut, Sales Tax Exemptions

Kansas would reduce its bank privilege tax rate, provide a higher standard deduction, cut property taxes and eliminate sales tax on groceries, diapers and feminine hygiene products under a tax plan released Monday by Gov. Laura Kelly and a bipartisan group of lawmakers.
