UK Asks ECJ To Uphold Its Reading Of CFC Rules Over EU’s

European Union regulators must defer to a member country’s interpretation of its own laws, the U.K. government argued Wednesday in asking the EU’s top court to throw out a 2022 determination that U.K. rules on controlled foreign corporations permitted illegal state aid.
