GOP Sens. Propose Carbon Import Fee That Targets China

Three U.S. Senate Republicans introduced a legislative proposal Thursday that would slap a fee on imports from China and elsewhere to account for what the lawmakers said are high carbon emissions associated with the goods’ overseas production.
