IRS Issued ‘Unusual Amount’ Of Summonses, Co. Says

The Internal Revenue Service has issued an “unusual amount” of third-party summonses in its investigation of a 2018 charitable tax deduction tied to a land donation for conservation purposes, a company told a Georgia federal court in a petition made public Tuesday.
