Repatriation Tax Ruling May Cost Up To $1T, Think Tank Says

If the U.S. Supreme Court finds the repatriation tax passed in the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act unconstitutional, certain rulings could cost the federal government anywhere from $3 billion to $1 trillion in lost revenue over the next decade, according to an analysis by a fiscal hawk think tank featured Wednesday in a blog post.
