Wis. Bill Seeks To Limit Nonprofit Hospital Property Exemption

Nonprofit hospitals in Wisconsin would be ineligible for a property tax exemption under legislation introduced Wednesday in the state Assembly if the value of the charity care they provide is less than the total amount of property tax they would have paid in that tax year.
